The built-in mattress surround (mattress not included) keeps bedding secure when the bed is closed, while the 1″ x 6″ cabinet notch accommodates most baseboards for a seamless fit. Equipped with a floating, safe piston lift mechanism, it supports mattresses up to 12″ thick for everyday comfort.
